The Central hotel is excellent in a superb location. Just walked out the door and we were in the heart of the city and shoppingf streets. Stayed on the 27th floor and the view was great. Friendly staff, clean spacious rooms. Couldnt have wished for better accommodation in Shanghai.

| "The people at the reception were rather businesslike, whereas the concierge and the bell boys were very friendly and helpful.
The lobby is nice but rather dull and quiet, but good for people wanting to avoid crowded lobbies.
The location is excellent overlooking the Nanjing pedestrian road.
