We stayed in the Central Hotel for 3 nights and were very happy with the choice of hotel. It is in a great location with all attractions in walking distance. The room was spacious,very clean and well presented and had great finishing touches (ie)Chocolates on the pillow, robes and slippers, maid service to draw the curtains and turn back the bed at night, free newspapers delivered to the door each morning.
We had a massage at the hotel and again we were impressed, 45mins cost £8!!! There is also a bowling alley, karoke bar, sauna to use if you want a break from the city. We had the breakfast at the hotel which was great chioce and value.
The staff were all friendly and happy to help.
Just don't have a coffee at the lobby bar as 2 cost £10!!!! We would stay there again.

| "The people at the reception were rather businesslike, whereas the concierge and the bell boys were very friendly and helpful.
The lobby is nice but rather dull and quiet, but good for people wanting to avoid crowded lobbies.
The location is excellent overlooking the Nanjing pedestrian road.
