I would rate my stay at Hotel Central as average. There is nothing extraordinary that deservres a mention. Whatever facilities that the hotel has to offer are marginally poor in comparison to other hotels in the same category. One thing that desrves a particular mention is non-cooperative staff. I Checked in at 6:00 PM and requested for a late check out till 3 PM. The staff quite flatly refused stating that I will have to pay half day rent for those extra 3 hours. I think it is a normal courtesy that all hotels extend especially if the guest's flight is late. The only good thing is location id good for shopping. But there are other better hotels in the same area. So I would most probably not repeat this one.

| "The people at the reception were rather businesslike, whereas the concierge and the bell boys were very friendly and helpful.
The lobby is nice but rather dull and quiet, but good for people wanting to avoid crowded lobbies.
The location is excellent overlooking the Nanjing pedestrian road.
