The Executive room was very clean and comfortable - having all the convieniences needed for business, plus good quality bed/bedding. I was really pleasently surprised! You must book a QUIET room as the hotel faces a construction site on one side which operates through the night. Location is good, and service for Shanghai is good for this standard hotel, especially the conceirge/porters with good english and enthusiastic service. Breakfast is acceptable, with fair selection.

| "The people at the reception were rather businesslike, whereas the concierge and the bell boys were very friendly and helpful.
The lobby is nice but rather dull and quiet, but good for people wanting to avoid crowded lobbies.
The location is excellent overlooking the Nanjing pedestrian road.
