This is a very good hotel choice for a city break in Shanghai. Truly **** by international standards. Room was large, modern, smart and very well appointed (7ft bed, plasma screen TV, fridge etc). Quiet & relaxed ambience in the hotel.
The location is fantastic - I didn't see a location in the city I would have preferred. Lots of interesting things in the local. Great for shops, restaurants etc. Metro stations for 2 lines an easy walk. The Bund an easy walk too.
The rate for this hotel was brilliant (we paid an average of £65/night - which is v competitive for the quality and location). Well done Asia Rooms!!

| "The people at the reception were rather businesslike, whereas the concierge and the bell boys were very friendly and helpful.
The lobby is nice but rather dull and quiet, but good for people wanting to avoid crowded lobbies.
The location is excellent overlooking the Nanjing pedestrian road.
