| "THE CITY HOTEL IS AN EXCELLENT HOTEL IT'S LOCATION IS GREAT FOR GETTING ACCESS TO THE METRO 1 AND 2 LINES ALSO VERY CLOSE TO MAIN ROAD THROUGH SHANGHAI WHICH WAS GREAT FOR TAXI JOURNEYS.
THE HOTEL ITSELF WAS VERY CLEAN FOOD WAS EXCELLENT HAD A GOOD ROOM SERVIVE MENU BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD WITH PLENTY OF CHOICE THE STAFF WERE VERY HELPFULL AND SPOKE GOOD ENGLISH. THE WEEK WE WERE THERE THE HOTEL WAS FULL AS IT IS CLOSE TO SHANGHAI EXIBITION CENTRE WHICH HAD A RATHER LARGE EXIBITION SO I WOULD SAY ON THIS POINT THE SERVICE WAS VERY GOOD.
ONLY DOWN WAS SPA AND POOL WAS NOT INCLUDED IN OUR ROOM PRICE AND HAD TO PAY EXTRA FOR THIS ALL IN ALL I WOULD CERTAINLY GO BACK AND RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL FOR A STAY" |

| "The room was very comfortable and economical but it was a little small. The bathroom was fine except for a very slow bathtub drain. There was remodeling of the restaurants, so it was a little short on choices for eating. Excellent service by all of the staff. Great location for walking distance to shopping and getting to the main sightseeing areas by taxi." |

| "when we arrived at this hotel we were very pleased , very nice hotel and very helpful staff , the rooms service and facilities are great , the location is pretty good and is close enough to wherever you want to go. i am returning to shanghai soon and i will stay here again!! The buisness center is great and they booked our flight and train tickets for us.
My only criticism is the food. The breakfast is fine but there isnt much westrn food on the menu. I found it hard to eat as i am allergic to seafood and the choice was not too great . I chose a cheeseburger but it was not very nice , this is the only way i can fault this hotel!!
i would recomend it and i dont think you could find much better!" |

| "Very good value hotel, have kept rennovating and upgrading. Super convenient location, walking distance from subway and shopping / business district. Check the rates with locals. Staying here a few times per year always around RMB xxx to xxx +tax, check out the exec floor! Super spa / gym / indoor pool. Breakfast has never been their highlight, but acceptable. Good business hotel, less tourists these days. High speed internet in the room, daily charge except for exec rooms." |
