The facilities were nicely maintained and the service, excellent; the hotel's architectural and historical context within the French Concession makes up for minor things like the cleanliness of my room's rug.

"Great room size and clean. Only problem was that the Hotel has about 6 buildings associated with it so when we thought the hotel had a pool, it does but its across the road and down the street - the same with bars - so check that the facilities you want are in the building you are in. We were in the old style building - it was beautiful and really well located to everything - I would definitely recommend it."
