The hotel was located some distance from the city centre. the room itself was damp with patchs on the wall beside the bed, it would appear that the building was in need of an update. Our main problem arose when we tried to order a taxi to take us to the International Cruise Terminal in Shanghai.The reception staff while having some small degree of english were unable to translate this destination into Chinese for our taxi driver. Following a call to the cruise people in England the required information was obtained. Not a great start to our holiday.

| "Dorure International Hotel Shanghai is an OK hotel for budget travelers, seniors and persons on eco adventures. It has a good price, the room size is OK, facilities are OK, cleanliness is very good and the service is quite good. The bathroom and the location of the hotel are both disastrous!! " |
