| "We had problems with the hotel since the cab driver did not understand English and there was no Chinese directions on the booking AND worse no hotel phone number so we drove around for some extra 20 minutes in the cab before another cab driver knew of the hotel. It was an ok stay and quite comfortable but ease of access and findability even when we went out my companion, a Chinese, had difficulty in getting across to the drivers exactly where the hotel was situated.

| "The room has ample facilities and it is clean. Generally, the staff is friendly and helpful. Location wise is not fantastic but is about 10min away from the main shopping area. Taxis are easily available. Good value for money..." |

| "We chose the Holiday Inn Vista on account of the map picture they provide that implies that it is situated about 2 blocks from the Bund. This is ABSOLUTELY NOT the case! It is about 25mins away by taxi. The map only shows a couple of main roads. So we were in for an unpleasant surprise on arriving there.
However if location doesn't matter to you, then this is a very clean, modern hotel with excellent facilities. (due to the location we spent our last day staying at the hotel and used the gym, pool, sauna and golf simulator before a fantastic buffet dinner. I particularly liked my bottomless glass of beer :))
The room was excellent and it was the 2nd best hotel bed I have ever experienced (the first being at the Nordic Lights Hotel in Stockholm).
I would suggest this hotel to families or business travellers. Backpackers would do better to find a hotel closer to Nanjing Road so they can experience the city and nightlife more." |

| "We stayed in this hotel for 5 days. The lobby counter staffs are great! They are helpful and speak good english. Check-in and check-out procedures are done in no time. For the room, most of the things are provided: toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, bathing foam, water kettle, slippers, fridge, iron, minibar, hairdryer, bathrobe. The negative thing is that the air-con seems weak and the air can get a bit stuffy. In addition, there is no bathtub in the room. Also, the hotel is quite a distance to the nearest metro station. Nevertheless, we have a great stay." |
