| "I cannot think of any reason to stay in this hotel. The location is really bad. In term of price, the amount that you pay for the room, you can get a much better located hotel at the same price.
The room is small and ventilation is very bad.
There's really many other options for you to choose, rather than this hotel. " |

| "Not recommended for anyone that is a tourist that does not understand the Chinese language. No-one knew a word of English. No information or sightseeing pamphlets available. The market inside sold me two phone cards that I could not use to call international, so that was a waste of money." |

| "Good location, just a ten minute walk to the subway. Slightly off the main street which might be a problem to some people but i never felt threatened. There are a lot of restaurants in the immediate area however a couple were disappointing. I stayed here with my chinese wife so communicating wasn't a problem. Service was good and overall i was happy with our stay." |

| "Location is 45minutes to an hour by taxi from Pu Dong airport by taxi depending on traffic. It is in the middle of a slum. First time out walking felt unsafe, but you get use to it. The Shanghai RR is a good 15 minute walk, but everything else is a good 15 minute taxi ride.
Room and bathroom size is ok. It's clean. Shower is very weak, and hot water time is short. Free internet in rooms. But there is a smell throughout the hotel. It's nasty. Depending on what you like. I was there two weeks, but could not get use to the smell.
Staff is nice, but only one person in the hotel speaks communicable English. Everybody except the one, just nods and says no to everything. I needed to go to the Holiday Inn to get any information, which is a 15minute walk away.
Breakfast is nasty. Had to eat out all the time. Will not stay at this hotel again, ever." |

| "The hotel is well located, near the metro station (about 5/10 minutes walk). The room is really fine. If I go to Shanghaï again I will book the same hotel for sure because the price is very competitive and hotel is really fine. The only thing is that the hotel is located in a small street with typical chinese restaurants so some people may be uncomfortable walking in this street (about 300 meters only) but do not be afraid I made it several times and there is really nothing to be afraid of." |

| "Hotel is well located near the subway and train stations. Clean and neat located in very local street filled with lots of local flavour - local little eateries, massage parlours, hair salons - interesting for adventurous traveller. If hotel have walking map would have been a great help - currently map is bad. Difficult to locate this hotel for a first time visitor as no sign nor maps anywhere. Asiaroom should provide a better location walking map from subway/train station - as it is really pretty easy to get to hotel on foot given a proper walking map. Nearest Metro stn: Shanghair Railway Stn Exit 3." |

| "A lot of good and bad here.
Room was good but some things not functioning..... eg ... fridge... shower....staff communication. Three times I was told someone would see that the fridge was working..... waited .... waited.... final threat to drop it on the reception desk got some action. "Wait 5 minutes for the house keeper to come always really meant "She may come after 40 minutes....... or not at all. Three times asked for toilet paper........ busting with food poisoning desperation... only yelling at reception got action. Saff at reception.... stone faced and cold... no smiles. Luckily the smiles came from the house keeping staff and the doorman. Outside Chinese man explained the hotel staff were new. Could do with a lot of improvement with efficiency. Not much English communication." |
