| "Pacific hotel is very good in term of location and its price. It is just about two minutes walk from Ren Min Plaza subway station.
For the two night that I stayed, the ventalition only supplied heat, no A/C was availalbe. I had to open the window for better ventalition while I was afraid people might get into my room thru it.
If one is looking for something fancy, romantic and nice. Pacific hotel shall not be recommended.

| "Good value for money. The best thing is the location. Only a minute walk away from the subway station and walking distance away from a few good Shanghai sites and restaurants. The old building is great to look at and easy to find again!" |

| "The hotel location is good.
The room size is ok for 2 people.
Room carpet is dirty with stains, toilet is old and room furniture is old.
Hotel staff specially those at the eatery are rude and don't understand english.
Receptionists are ok and understands english, though.

| "Perfect location. near subway and Nanjing road, Internet service 21 yuan 30 min. but slow connection, the staff is friendly but when I tried to get some information about tickets to Cirque du Soleil, the front desk didnt help me, instead the bell boy call and find the information I was looking for. Room and bathroom very clean and good size. I recommend this hotel." |

Try to do something about them." |

| "I'm woman in late 4o, traveling alone and this time on my way to Europe I choosed SHanghai as stop over.I stayed at this hotel on APril 2007.Even thought I booked room at the back side of the hotel I've got an upgrade to front building without charge, which was realy nice of them.Location is very good. I took Maglev from airport, than transfer to metro which is very easy, and hotel is just outside metro station on Remnin. Really handy to everything. I would recoment everybody who is not taking taxi from airport to leave luggage at the airport. Metro is quite packed if you have to go to the airport in rush hours, and some elevators are not working, so dragging your luggage up the stairs from metro would be really dificult. English is main problem.
I walked and walked cause no taxi driver can understand me where I want to go. They have their own names for hotels, streets, etc. Otherwise, Metro is realy the best way to go around Shanghai. WOrth visiting." |
