The room and bathroom were sufficient and clean. The location of the hotel was fabulous, close to the shops and the station. The bed was a little hard, but we soon got used to it. The staff were helpful and courteous. Laundry was really cheap as was room service. Would stay there again.

| "Pacific hotel is very good in term of location and its price. It is just about two minutes walk from Ren Min Plaza subway station.
For the two night that I stayed, the ventalition only supplied heat, no A/C was availalbe. I had to open the window for better ventalition while I was afraid people might get into my room thru it.
If one is looking for something fancy, romantic and nice. Pacific hotel shall not be recommended.

| "Good value for money. The best thing is the location. Only a minute walk away from the subway station and walking distance away from a few good Shanghai sites and restaurants. The old building is great to look at and easy to find again!" |

| "The hotel location is good.
The room size is ok for 2 people.
Room carpet is dirty with stains, toilet is old and room furniture is old.
Hotel staff specially those at the eatery are rude and don't understand english.
Receptionists are ok and understands english, though.
