I have been there at the end of November - I was surprised about location ( really closed to the swinging Nanjin Road ) and well linked with Pudong business area - The staff was friedly and prepared ( I suggest to improve the knowledge of english for all the receptionist ) - Room was quite big and quite clean - The breakfast has been well furnished - In case of My next visit in Sha I will be there again

| "Pacific hotel is very good in term of location and its price. It is just about two minutes walk from Ren Min Plaza subway station.
For the two night that I stayed, the ventalition only supplied heat, no A/C was availalbe. I had to open the window for better ventalition while I was afraid people might get into my room thru it.
If one is looking for something fancy, romantic and nice. Pacific hotel shall not be recommended.

| "Good value for money. The best thing is the location. Only a minute walk away from the subway station and walking distance away from a few good Shanghai sites and restaurants. The old building is great to look at and easy to find again!" |

| "The hotel location is good.
The room size is ok for 2 people.
Room carpet is dirty with stains, toilet is old and room furniture is old.
Hotel staff specially those at the eatery are rude and don't understand english.
Receptionists are ok and understands english, though.
