| "The hotel lived up to the expectations of this international 'marque', though only one night's stay, is not sufficient to write a proper assessment of all the hotel's facilities and amenities.
Nevertheless, I already recommended this hotel to a young couple in the nearby airport terminal on my departure from the city, who were having a bit of difficulty finding somewhere reasonable nearby that would not 'break the bank', hardly a unique expectation from travellers nowadays, not always lucky enough to be on a business-expenses paid trip.
At least, the hotel not being in the city centre, was not subjected to the constant and very annoying 'honking' of vehicle horns (something to be welcomed), and not intrusive as to disturb sleep." |

| "I had reserved the Deluxe Room. What a disappointment!
The room was just an average room in the non-smoking floor stinking cigarrette. I wonder what would be the standard room. Location was the only positive thing and fitted to my needs this time. " |

| "My son and I arrived very late, our flight delayed in Guilin. A taxi from the airport to The Ramada was a long time coming at that time and the taxi driver did not really want to take us such a short distance. The
Ramada's receptionist was highly efficient and got us to our room very quickly. We were grateful as at 2.00am we were very tired. Breakfast was very good. The fruit (lychees, oranges, melon) was superb, the coffee delicious. There were plenty of staff in the restaurant and service there was aso of a high order. The shutle bus system worked well for us.
The Ramada in Shanghai was a very pleasant experience for both of us." |
