"Very happy with most aspects of the hotel. It's a newer property with quite modern decor. Getting in/out of the area was a little hectic due to construction but other than that it was great!"

"A good business hotel. Service is prompt but friendly and all staff seemed to speak good English. Location is recommendable for the first-time tourist, since one of the musts of SH, Yuyuan Garden, is right around the corner. Transportation is easiest by taxi, though Nanjing Lu e.g. is not that far by walking either. There seems to be taxi cabs available in front of the hotel and the doorman will assist -and he will give you a card with the cab# for possible complaints etc. My only complaint has actually not to do with the hotel itself but with the taxi; on the way to Pudong airport the driver tried to pull the usual SH-trick and charge me around 100RMB extra. (Mind you, problems only occur with the airport transportation, from time to time -normally taxi in SH is reliable.)"

"The hotel had a good smell upon entering. It had that spa scent which is soothing and you will feel very relaxed. Check in was fast and so with check out. The buffet was ok but had the same exact food everyday. You should have two or three new dishes everyday. The room was very Romantic, wished i brought my husband in that trip. Its a very good location for business, if you are into retail or fashion. There are lots of cheap walking distance markets. Actually, its just across the street. The gym and swimming pool was superb. The uniforms were very fashionable and really nice, but not sewn or fitted well. The fit was not too good. Oh i super love the toiletries provided. I felt like i was on a spa vacation even if i was working. I love the hotel but they have to improve a bit on the service. So far i had a great stay."

"Great service, funky new hotel with a fab breakfast at a very good rate. We werent sure about staying here at first but the hotel was just what we were looking for. The location pretty central as well."

"The website displayed SPA facilities but that was not operational and was a bit of a let down. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Proximity to the Yu Gardens and to major shopping streets like Nanjing Road and Hua Hin and also to the eating hub at Xingtandi was indeed a bonus."
