the roomsize is o.k. The bathroom is spacious. The location is perfect, a lot of shops and restaurants are close by. The hotel taff is very helpfull.

| "Glad we chose this hotel over other similar accommodations we looked at. Conveniently located near shopping and eating areas, yet away from the hustle and bustle characterised by the Dongmen area. Upmarket shopping and dining establishments and MTR station a short stroll from the hotel. We stayed at both the standard room as well as the club suite - the latter is HUGE. During our stay, we had the gym and swimming pool to ourselves - both under-utilised and still looking new. Staff polite and helpful and will try their best to communicate in English to non-Chinese speakers.
We were informed that the hotel would have a name and management change from 1 Dec 2007 - hope the superb value it represents will be retained." |

| "The Landmark ShenZhen is a first class hotel. The entire staff from the doorman to the maids are friendly, well trained and very courteous. Rooms are very large and beautifully furnished, food is good, location great for shopping, metro and dining. I can not think of a single thing I did not like. " |

| "I travel to China 3 - 4 times per year. The Landmark in Shenzhen is certainly right up there with the best I have stayed in. The room was first rate. The room attendants were excellent and various hospitility points around the hotel were very good. The gym and swimming facilities whilst not the best I have experienced are certainly very good. Overall the staff are good, especially on reception. Nevertheless, and this is true of nearly every hotel I have stayed at in China, the male staff tend to be quite abrupt and much less helpful and pleasant than the female staff. Possibly the hospitiality culture is an issue for males in China; I am not sure, but as a group they have much to learn in comparison to the hospitality mindset of females.
Overall though The Landmark in Shenazhen is an outsyanding hotel." |
