There are several positives: very close distance to central shopping and several restaurants, nicely air conditioned rooms, friendly and attentive staff, and easy accessibility by taxis. There are several negatives: small room, small and difficult to assess cloth closet, very far from nearest internet cafe (unless you bring your own laptop), and not so great breakfast. What we disliked the most was the high price for the value, definitely not for a budget traveler.

| "The hotel is right where the busy bustling shopping district is. It is very near the ferry terminal going to Gulangyu Island as well. In fact, we reached the terminal from merely walking (about 20 to 25 mins... its not tiring since along the way there are a lot of shopping centers.. some are open as early as 9:30am. You will be proud to say that you have walked the entire Zhongshan Road. The room is generally clean.. but the bathroom is quite small. You will have all you need in the hotel. The breakfast at Yorkee Coffee doesnt serve American breakfast, it served Chinese buffet breakfast, maybe serving American breakfast will make this stay perfect... Will definitely stay again!!!" |
