| "We were delighted with almost everything at the Shangri-La. The tour they arranged for us to the west of Xian was outstanding.
Service in the hotel exceeded our expectations. The Chinese restaurant in the hotel was lovely and, for a luxury hotel like the Shangri-La, very reasonably priced.
Our only criticism was that the amount of available drawer space in the room was more appropriate for one traveler than for two. Otherwise, our room on the Horizon Floor was lovely.
For travelers with limited time, the location is very convenient for visiting the Terra Cotta soldiers as it is east of the city wall.
We recommend the Shangri-La Golden Flower wholeheartedly. " |

| "We (my wife and two daughters ) stayed two nights in Shangri-la Golden Flower and the Hotel was what we expected from it. The location is not too good for turists but quite good for business trips.
The bad think hampened when we check out; then I exchanged 100 americans dolars by RMB the rate was fair but the clerk gave me 200 fakes RMB. For that I will never recommend to stay in Shangri-la Hotels .

| "Facilities and staff were excellent at the Shangri-la Golden Flower hotel in Xian, and we found it to be very good value for money. The rooms were spacious but well equipped, and better than we expected to find in China. The hotel is a little way out of the city, but we found the walk in to Xi'an to be interesting and worth doing, rather than always getting a taxi." |

| "Just returned from 5 days at the Shengri-la Golden Flower hotel(4/10-4/14). We loved every minute of our stay. Rooms were large and clean, with everything we needed. I highly recommend this hotel." |

| "We went to The Shangri-la Golden Flower buffet for lunch because we read about it on tripadvisor. It was every bit the best that we had in Xian. We will definitely go back and stay at the hotel as well" |

| "The rooms were absolutely spotless and were cleaned thoroughly each and every day. The room was so quiet, unless I'd seen the housekeepers cleaning other rooms on our floor, I would have thought we were the only ones there! I did call housekeeping to get a replacement iron as the one in the room had some kind of melted stuff on the bottom from a previous user. Within minutes, a lovely woman was there with a brand new iron, apologizing repeatedly for our inconvenience!This was very helpful!!" |
