| "I kept searching for a 3 stars hotel room in Egypt for 3 days, for a business trip, finally I found this hotel. I was chocked at the start when I checked in especially that I am used to 5 stars hotels with the family. When I entered the room I was calmed, it was great, spacious and the AC worked well, no noise could be heard from the street, my room was in the 6th floor which was actually the 15th floor.Location wise it was great, mini markets are near for water and drinks, restaurants were 30 meters away, and the nile was only 4 minutes walk, I came from Tahrir square walking only 10 minutes which was great. Not to mention that the Sheraton is only 40-50 meters away for a night entertainment. I slept well at night especially that I leave at 11:00 and get back late in the evening or pass by the day to rest. This hotel is good for Tourists, Businessmen, Old people (it has 2 lifts) and young couples who would only use it to sleep since no pubs or dining restaurant in it. Staff were helpfull, anything you ask they will do or reply. I guess I will be back to this hotel for 2 more nights this year.
Breakfast should be changed at least the Egyptian cheese shoule be replaced by a more continental one." |

| "In general, this hotel is good. The service is great, the staff were very nice and friendly too. The location was strategic. My family and I stayed for 5 nights and we all liked it. Breakfast was provided nevertheless it would be better if the menu could be changed every 2-3 days.

| "Friendly staff and good location. Our room was facing the mainstreet, and theres was quite a lot of streetlife, so if you are a light sleeper, make sure to get a room at a top level. Breakfast was fine - it had egyptian specialities, toast and drinks. " |

| "we paid for 2 executive rooms and only got one and one standard double for the first 8 days. For the last 3 days after complaining throughout the week we were given the second executive room for the last 3 days only.
The staff were pleasant but the hotel owner/manager was rude at times (a man 60 plus with glasses).
The breakfast was good but never changed same everyday.
The bedrooms were not hoovered during our stay and underneath the beds was thick dust." |

| "The actual appearance of the hotel is sad to say, nothing like the photo on Asiaroom's website - it was terribly run down and old. The lift could only take 4 pple at a time and seemed to be potentially unsafe. Breakfast was very basic in range with bread n toast and fruit (watermelon and honeydew), hard boiled eggs. Location wise, unless you plan to eat at the hotel, you would need to walk for about 1 km to find anything. Saving grace was that service of the hotel staff was OK. Only recommended for strictly budget travellers." |

| "I stayed for 11 days. Knew before I went that although it ranked this hotel as 3-star, i shouldn't expect that much and it proved to be true. I was given the 5th floor (a non-smoking floor) but other guests were smoking. The room was spacious and clean but closely located to each other that you can hear a lot of noise from the next room. There was a TV with an English channel. The phone was very old. The shower was running very slow (almost to a drop!), but adequate warm water. there was no mini bar or complimentary tea/coffee, also no jug kettle. breakfast was served everyday, and the same menu was there for my whole 11-day stay, which consisted of bread, cheese, hard boiled egg, spiced beans, fruits (watermelon and honey dew everyday), juice and coffee/tea. the hotel is located on Tahrir Street which is one of Cairo's busiest streets, so there were lots of noise until dawn. but there was a lot of taxis to hail. it was also near Sheraton Hotel which has an Egypt Air counter inside. it was also close to the River Nile. on the right hand side of the hotel was a Taza Takeaway which sold very cheap meals. on the left hand side were a pharmacy, a souvenir shop and close by was a shop selling papyreus papers at reasonable price. The Egyptian Museum and Opera House were accessible on foot or by taxi which will cost you L.E 10 for a ride. the taxi fares keep on changing, so you have to haggle with price everytime. A round trip to Giza Pyramids cost L.E 60. it was okay, but certainly could be better." |
