Would I stay at this location
again:

Most likely
we paid for 2 executive rooms and only got one and one standard double for the first 8 days. For the last 3 days after complaining throughout the week we were given the second executive room for the last 3 days only. The staff were pleasant but the hotel owner/manager was rude at times (a man 60 plus with glasses). The breakfast was good but never changed same everyday. The bedrooms were not hoovered during our stay and underneath the beds was thick dust.

"This is a budget hotel, in an "interesting" area of Cairo close to the Nile, and you pay for what you get. The hotel offers basic accommodation, and thus good for travellers, or businessmen who prefer to spend their money on entertainment. The room was clean and tidy, with an acceptably hot shower, and bath although the bathroom is in need of some tidying up. The service within the hotel is very friendly, prompt and professional, and it is difficult to critique at the price per room per night. The owner, "suited and booted", and all of his uniformed staff are very helpful, and accommodating, with a late night bar if you wish to end the evening with an ice cold beer. "The Sheraton" nearby has all the amenities you would want in terms of shops, restaurants, coffee shop, bar, and 24hr bank - even at weekends. "

"I kept searching for a 3 stars hotel room in Egypt for 3 days, for a business trip, finally I found this hotel. I was chocked at the start when I checked in especially that I am used to 5 stars hotels with the family. When I entered the room I was calmed, it was great, spacious and the AC worked well, no noise could be heard from the street, my room was in the 6th floor which was actually the 15th floor.Location wise it was great, mini markets are near for water and drinks, restaurants were 30 meters away, and the nile was only 4 minutes walk, I came from Tahrir square walking only 10 minutes which was great. Not to mention that the Sheraton is only 40-50 meters away for a night entertainment. I slept well at night especially that I leave at 11:00 and get back late in the evening or pass by the day to rest. This hotel is good for Tourists, Businessmen, Old people (it has 2 lifts) and young couples who would only use it to sleep since no pubs or dining restaurant in it. Staff were helpfull, anything you ask they will do or reply. I guess I will be back to this hotel for 2 more nights this year. Breakfast should be changed at least the Egyptian cheese shoule be replaced by a more continental one."
