WE ARRIVED THE CAIRO 1:30 A.M. IN THE MORNING,SO IT WAS NOPT EASY TO FIND A REAL TAXI,ONLY OLD TAXIES WERE THERE. ALTOUGH WE TOLD A TAXI DRIVER COULDN'T FOUND THE HOTEL. IT HAPPENED TWICE..SO BEFORE YOU GO THERE,YOU SHOULD GET THE ADRESS AND MAP OF THE HOTEL.BREAKFAST WAS GOOD...LOCATION IS VERY CLOSE TO PYRAMIDS,15 MIN TO NILE.

| "This hotel had very friendly staff.
We had a bit of a problem with taxis finding the hotel but this was because the locals know the hotel as Gawharet Al Ahram Hotel and not as Husa Pyramids.
The food manager was very warm and welcoming and was nice to have a laugh with.
the view from the Panorama Terrace Restaurant of the Pyramids was amazing, it was nice to be able to see how close they were during the daylight and watch them light up during the sound and light show.
The rooms were comfortable and complete with fridges which occasionally were too cold turning our water to bottles of ice.
The only disapointing thing about this hotel was that is was smack bang in the middle of a busy street and built up area so all you could see from the windows of your rooms were the locals apartments and all you could hear was the constant horns of drivers on the main road. If you want a place to stay overnight as a stopover this is a good cheap hotel, if you want a hotel where you can relax by the pool and sunbathe for a week I recommend choosing another hotel." |
