Super location if you have a room overlooking the pyramids, but our room was 'tired' and could do with refurbishment to be on a par with what one usually expects from a Le Meridien Hotel.
Restaurants are okay and reasonable value.
Swimming pool area is attractive.
The lifts (elevators) need a serious overhaul, most times it is faster to use the stairs!
Service is very friendly and helpful but attention span is short and can be totally forgetful.
It would help if main restaurant staff were rather more customer service orientated and focussed on the job rather than chatting endlessly amongst themselves.

| "the pics on the internet do not fit with the reality! This hotel should not be called as a Le Meridien! Very old and the concierge always tried to give me the most expensive solution instead of the best and cheapest one. Was very disappointed! Still have the dysentery... one week after I left! Was not my first time in cairo but my first and last in this hotel! " |
