| "Was there November 21
nice and quiet hotel away from the craziness of Cairo driving....a good compromise for 1 or 2 days stay to visit Giza pyramid.
Main issue is arabic and english name for hotel are a no match ! very hard for taxi drivers to find the place !!
Rooms are charming, clean and well equipped.
breakfast is "commercial" ...nothing so special about it." |

| "We wanted to stay in a hotel near Giza and could not afford the more expensive options so we tried the Oasis. We were happy with the room which was quite large and the facilities were very good, including their pool. The Oasis was helpful in arranging for a car and driver to go to Saqqara and its location is handy for Giza (but less so if you want to go into Cairo via their courtesy shuttle). The hotel was very comfortable and we felt that we had received value for our money. The only issue to be aware of is that if you are going to take the overnight train from Giza to Luxor or Aswan and you want a late check out (ie to have a swim after being out and about) the cost will be just under the normal room rate for a whole day." |

| "Location close to pyramids and away from husstle and busstle of Cairo is very relaxing. Easy and worryless acces to town with their frequent and stipt shuttle.
Unlike lots of other places in Egypt the staff really seems to take pleasure in their work and taking care of the customers. The lay out of the terrain is magnificent. Rooms cleaner than any I have expereinced in Egypt. Only drawback is the noisiness of the bathroom ventilation that can not be switched of when the light is on and the fact that no fresh air is available in the room exept when opening the main entrance door.
Lovely swimming pool, well taken care off, restaurants around it to feed all your needs, international quisine, quite affordable too." |

| "Older hotel but great value. Pool unfortunately closed at 7pm and the food inside the hotel's five different restaurants was pretty much all the same. Not the closest to the Pyramids but only a 10 minute drive. Sprawling estate of single level apartments. About 300 rooms at a guess. Nice gardens and a friendly atmosphere. A pleasant "oasis" from the hustle and bustle of Cairo streets." |
