| "Was a good hotel and safe hotel. Nothing really went wrong. Is not a 5 Star hotel in UK Standards but was a decent 3 possibly very low 4 star hotel.
Location wise the hotel matches anything in Cairo!!! Everyone knows the hotel (taxi drivers etc) and trust me that helps.
The MAWAWEEL restaurant is really good and honestly the only good one in the hotel complex.
We had a had a King Size, Nile View room so it was well decorated and looked after. In general though I think the hotel could do with a refurbishment of many areas (rooms mainly as I got to see some of the other rooms in the hotel).
Overall a good stay." |

| "This was our second stay at the Pyramisa, we stayed at the beginiing and the end of our holiday in Egypt. On the second time we were upgraded to a two bedroom suite. The service was excellent, the staff friendly and helpful. The children were made to feel extremely welcome. The only downside was that the pool area did not see the sun so the water was not very warm, however this did not bother the children who still made use of the pool. We would recommend this hotel for other families - we stayed in a Junior Suite first time round and this was a good size for a family of four." |

| "We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights, and out to visit in the day, did not do too much in the hotel. In general, the hotel staff was friendly and helpful and the room is OK. No free internet. Breakfast is included and is good." |

| "We went to Cairo in December, we did not realise that it was a high season especially nearer to Christmas. We booked a double room online for £44 but when we tried to extend our stay, they gave us a price of £85 per night even that we overheard them telling an Eqyptian guest that the charge was LE 400 (ie £38), the reception guy advised us to use asiarooms to extend the booking but it came back with no availability.
They gave us a huge 1 bedroom apartment with a lounge, bedroom, changing room and a bathroom. The shower was a little weak. The services were good and the staff were polite and helpful. The breakfast was extensive and good.
We ordered room service food the night we arrived as we arrived late and tired and could not be bothered going out, their food was value compared to a hotel food and a 2 meal came back less than £11.
Their pool was outdoor and with a temp of 15-20 degrees we did not bother to go for it.
The location was great, a short walk to 2 Metro stations the Dokki and the Opera.
Taxis will rip you off when you say that you want to go to Pyramisa, the guy charged us LE40 from the airport and thats only after lots of huggling.
To avoid that, we started to tell the taxis to take us to Midan AL Galaa which is just outside the hotel(opposite to the Sheraton).
Overall, this hotel was recommended to us by my inlaws and we are happy to recommend it to others as long as you can get for a reasonable price (Do not pay more than £50)" |

| "It is definetely not a five star hotel, would say 3-4Stars.It is an excellant location, metro nearby, shopping also.Pools are fine, however so much built in to the hotel, that you see no sunshine. I think I´ll go there again. Once you know it is NOT a 5* you can live with it and the location beats it all." |

| "Abroad from Egypt this hotel would have been rated as a 3 star hotel. Room, bathroom and servive were o.k. but the noise-reduction for traffic-noise was poor. Location is not so bad. So you can easily walk to the Nile-River and after a 15-minutes walk across an island you are on the CityCenter-side neer Nile-Hilton and Egyptian Museum. Or you just walk 5 minutes to Dokki-Metrostation and go wherever you want in the Metrolines-system for just 1 LE.
Over all and after looking at the prices of other 5 star hotels in Cairo it was o.k. for the 3 nights we stayed." |
