THE BOOKING THRU THE NET WAS FOR A STANDARD ROOM. THEY CHARGE USD 20 PER DAY EXTRA IF U WANT A NILE FACING ROOM.
THE BREAKFAST WAS AVERAGE BUT THE DINING AREA WAS INFESTED WITH FLIES OVER THE OPEN FOOD. FOOD AT THE ASIA HOUSE WAS GOOD.
THE ROOM'S EXCELLENT NILE VIEW WAS MARRED BY THE TERRIBLE TRAFFIC NOISE FROM THE ROAD(WE WERE ON THE 5TH FLR), LACK OF A SAFE IN THE ROOM, POOR QUALITY MATTRESSES THAT SAG IN THE MIDDLE & NO HAIR DRYER IN THE TOILET.
ALSO THE TAXI INCHARGE CONCIERGE QUOTES INFLATED PRICES. HOWEVER THE NILE VIEW WAS STUNNING & PROBABLY WORTH THE EXTRA 20 USD.

| "The river view is awesome.
An old hotel with style, and our stay was comfortable.
We locked ourselves out one time, and it took more than ten minutes for someone to come and open it for us, but think about it, it takes that much time or more everywhere in Egypt~~~" |

| "I never enjoyed my stay here. I requested for a double room and ended up in a room with two double beds. Room service didn,t exist as i asked for an item to be removed three times but nobody bothered. The location seemed as bad as a slum area. Overall disappointed." |
