| "We couldn't fault the hotel, service, cleanliness or location but what let this immaculate hotel down was the food and the italian language which was spoken everywhere with no translation into english. We found the food was the same everyday, both lunchtime and in the evening with only a change in sauces that was added to the vegetables etc. There were packets of pasta and olive oil on display (what was that all about?). The buffet meals were located at the furthest end of the restaurant which meant that if you didn't get a table close (which were always taken) you had quite a walk to collect your separate courses, there was no trays so you had to walk back and forth for each meal. The beach was lovely but we didn't expect the loudspeaker in our ears from the Activteam which again only seemed to speak in italian with no translation. There were so many italian people there when we went, only saw about half a dozen engish families which really spoilt it for us as it felt as if we were in Italy not Egypt. It was quite enjoyable but we would not go again." |

| "I have just spent a week at the Hotel Calimera Habiba Beach in Marsa Alam, Egypt and it was absolutely amazing. The people are very friendly and have a great entertainment team. I did most of the trips on offer and they where all great value for money. The hotel was lovely and very clean with plenty of food variety. I will definately be going back and will recommend it to anyone!" |
