| "over all the hotel was quite good, the pool area and grounds where very good for me as a full time wheel chair user
the room i booked was a wheel chair room when i arrived at midnight i was told the wheel chair rooms where all taken so i had to get a cold shower most nights and had major difficulties in mastering the transfer to the toilet
but what really makes me angry is when i see some one who can walk having a wheel chair room when they can manage in a normal room
every thing else was ok

| "Overall, we would rate this resort as excellent. The room was excellent; very spacious, bright, clean and it has 2 balconies. The bathroom was also quite spacious. The air-conditioning was working well and was needed!!
The service was excellent, from the moment we arrived until we left; All staff could not do enough to assist you in relation to everything. Friends were also staying at the hotel at the same time. Before we arrived our friends noted to them that we were coming and they moved us over beside their accomodation, without this being requested. Our room was cleaned to a very high standard every day and towels/sheets changed.
The resort is situated directly on the beach and is situated very close to downtown Sharm el Sheik.
In addition security on site was excellent.
Breakfast was excellent every morning, with a great range of food on offer, always fresh and they supplied a take away pack for the mornings that were out on trips - (too much food)
We ate in their newly opened french restaurant and in the italian restaurant. The food and service in both of these restaurants was excellent - although quite expensive.
The only criticism that we could have relates to the organisation of one of the trips - to Petra - in Jordan. Very little information was available regarding the schedule of the day until the night before and then it was just what time we were leaving and what time we were likely to arrive back. We understand that they contract out this trip to an external excursion operator which may be why they had such little information about it's detail.
The room rate we received from AsiaRooms.com meant that we believe we got great value for money. Drinks etc are quite expensive on site, however, Sharm el Sheik as a resort is much more expensive than Cairo, Luxor, Aswan or other areas in Egypt we visited.

| "This was a second vist to a Movenpick Hotel in Egypt and it did not disapoint! The staff are always helpful and polite, the food is great and the location...you cannot get more central in Naama Bay!" |

| "Great location, and good value for money. You can stay out till late and not getting worried about taking taxi back to the hotel.as the hotel in the heart of city center and night life and the kids enjoy it very much as all favourite fast food resturaunt are nearby pizzahut, kfc, macdonald's ... etc.
Beach 2 mins away ... breakfast is great!!!!!! Overall its great and i will go back again!!!!!!!!" |
