The Airport Sydney International Motor Inn hotel, in my opinion and the obvious opinion of many others the morning we checked out, is disgraceful. The site displays refurbished rooms of which we did not see. The shower arm was swinging down and resting against the tiles and could not be tightened so as to have water running over you. The air conditioning units were filthy, my daughter complained to me in the morning that there were dirty sheets on her bed, and she did not receive her wake-up call because the phone was not working. We dined, so to speak, in the restaurant on our arrival, which was a huge mistake. I stood for 30mins at the bar waiting to order 4 drinks. There were no clean glasses and the waiter was constantly called away to assist in the kitchen. They were seriously understaffed. Whilst at the bar 2 complaints were voiced about the food and food returned to be re cooked. We had unfortunately ordered and after a 1.5 hr wait we were served up food unworthy of a hospital cafeteria. I was embarrassed due to the fact that I was responsible for booking at this hotel, and felt nervous as to how the rest of my holiday would end up. I voiced my disappointment to the staff in the morning, but they were unconcerned. I feel that this hotel is nothing more than a glorified carpark, which is what attracted me in the first place, and to there credit my car was in one piece on my return. I totally begrudge handing over $411 for my experience. Please don't recommend this place to your friends.
