The hotel is ok for budget travelers but there is quite old hotel and not too many facilities provided. Don't expect too much if you have tightly budget.
Hotel appears extremely run down. I stayed here 20 years ago. The hotel has definitely gone downhill. Unfortunately I will not be staying here again.

Comparing to Aussie Hotels,Terrace can't pass it's Standard for this rate.Receptions ae not friendly but according to their advertisement, which we can even see in the airport, it made the hotel popular.A lot of guests while I've been there. That's the reason why the receptions are cold to the guests.The rooms are not clean as I've expected.Anyway comparing to the rate, it's OK.
A pleasant and enjoyable stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful.I felt that it was very good value for money.I would have no problem booking this hotel again for a future visit

Suitable hotel for budget travellers.
Rooms are basic and starting to look a little old, but have all of the required facilities.
Not far from the CBD, although there is a decent sized hill to walk up (we recommend walking through the park so it's not so painful)
Ageing hotel with large rooms but worn carpets. Steep climb up the hill from the city but it's just besides Roma Street train station, perfect for traveling to Gold Coast or anywhere in Brisbane. Polite friendly service.
Don't use the kettle though as it's dirty. BYO or buy mineral water ;)
