Very pleasant stay- nice large room &...
Very pleasant stay- nice large room & beds (2) as requested.Very quiet -no outside noise could be heard-Helpful staff-good price for the middle of Brisbane Only complaint was trying to find the entrance to the hotel -almost impossible -drove around the block three times & in the end came throught a service alleyway to the front door-then the car park was full which was a nuisance.

The Ibis is refurbishing at the moment...
The Ibis is refurbishing at the moment and we stayed in the old rooms as well the refurbished. The refurbished rooms are nice, new matresses and carpet and repainted. They are very tight on amenities like soap and shampoo (one little envelope for a double and we had to ask for hand towels both times. Also they only provide local Australian TV, which is very poor for international travellers and compared to other *** hotels in Australia.

The staff were very helpful and friendly....
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a central location. The room was a little dark but had everything a few more! Overall I really liked the hotel but felt that it was a little expensive. Terry

Ibis hotel is very close to city centre, room too small, no facilities. Good for budget traveller and business trip.

We stayed 4 nights at Ibis Hotel...
We stayed 4 nights at Ibis Hotel in Brisbane.  There were couple problems but they fixed the problems within a day.  Good value, but definitely a 3-star hotel.  Close to train station and downtown.

Great value. We only stayed 1 night, but were very comfortable at the hotel. There were clean, quiet, comfortable rooms, and very friendly staff. My only complaint is that the hotel is difficult to get to by car. Ask for detailed directions in advance.

Stayed at the Ibis Brisbane with my husband for 2 nights. Accommodation roomy and a pleasant surprise as Ibis rooms tend to be on the small side. Great facilities and cheap breakfasts with Queen St Mall and Casino just a 3 minute walk away.Highly recommended for the rates paid.
