Staff couldn't be more helpful. Everything was excellent. Couldn't ask for more. Wonderful experience made the trip just that much better.
I was surprised by the great atmosphere...
I was surprised by the great atmosphere of the room, it's a lot better than how it looks at the web page picture. Clean, very neat and cozy. There's is something about the room layout that I really liked.
The room also has a fair amount of kitchenware, the only bad think is that the electrical stove was a little worn out and took ages to cook something with it.
The location is a little bit far from Cairns centre if you go walking. Supermarkets and other stores are also a little bit too far.
Service at the front desk was great, provided me with a good map and good advices about my questions.
The price for this hotel is more than fair. I believe you get a little bit more for your money. I'd definitively recommend this room for young couples, adventurers and active people.

Complex was ideal for our purposes. A little way out of main town /restaurant centre but no more than 20 minutes medium walking time. Cooking facilities adequate but not for a full meal purposes--two plate electric hob only.Service of front office excelent with good sighseeing recommendations. Room serviced daily with fresh towels if reqired.

best accomadation of our tour. we stayed here twice (our first week and on our final week) and each time were very well looked after. we would definaly book again.it is alway difficult to know how good a place will be but we found the asiarooms reviews most helpful in our selction.

Cleaners were very good, it was good that my wife did not to have to make the bed.
We were a little annoyed on the location, when we chose it on the Website, the details said that it was a 5 minute walk from the city, it was too far to walk!!!

Only comment to make was a very long walk into town centre, You could catch a bus but no one let us know, did'nt realise until near the end of our stay!
They could do with a shuttle bus!!
I found my stay in the hotel...
I found my stay in the hotel pleasant, the rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helped at several occasions. This is certainly an address which I would recommend, I think that The Tropical Queenslander is good value for the money. By the way, the breakfast is excellent.
