Directions

Coming from the Airport by car

1.

Take the airport exit road and turn left onto the main road at the traffic lights.
2.

Follow the signs that point you to the city and Innisfail.

The route takes you along Sheridan Street through many traffic lights.
3.

At the Florence Street intersection turn right into Florence Street.

This is the main road south and the signs will say to Innisfail.
4.

Stay in the right lane and turn right at the next lights into McLeod Street.
5.

City Terraces is a white colonial style building set back from the street a few doors down McLeod Street on the left hand side.

Coming from the South by car.

1.

Follow the Pacific Highway into Cairns.
2.

The name of the highway changes to Mulgrave Road.

Follow Mulgrave Road into the city.
3.

When nearly into the city the street name changes to Florence Street and you will cross a rail line.

This is the Cairns/Kuranda railway line.
4.

Turn left into McLeod Street at the next set of traffic lights.
5.

City Terraces is a white colonial style building set back from the street a few doors down McLeod Street on the left hand side.

From the Airport by Taxi or Bus

* You can get from the Airport to City Terraces by airport bus, taxi or by limousine.
* The airport bus costs AU$ 8.00 per person and takes around 20 minutes depending on numbers of people to be dropped off.
* Taxi ranks are opposite both the domestic and international arrival halls.

The fare from the airport to City Terraces is around AU$12.00 - AU$15.00.
* A meet and greet and limousine service can be arranged by City Terraces.

The cost is AU$18.00 per person.
