The room was much smaller than I...
The room was much smaller than I anticipated for the price and there was no room to move freely between one side of the bed and the wall, which resulted in a very sore knee when getting out of bed in the early morning. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and the location was great. Also there was not enough tea bags for two tea drinkers.

Had a fabulous time in Darling Harbour...
Had a fabulous time in Darling Harbour Ibis, couldn't have been a better view or location. Staff exceptionally friendly & helpful.

The room was too small to move...
The room was too small to move in .No space to hang clothes .A queen size bed had been requested but the room was only just big enough to hold a three quarter bed which had to be pushed hard against the wall to fit into the room.The room smelt of stale cigarette smoke.We are unable to comment further as we found accommodation elsewhere ,writing off the cost incurred as an expensive but unwanted experience .

Our stay was pleasant. The location, being right on Darling Harbour was perfect. So much to do so close by. I was disappointed that there were no laundry facilies on sight for guests to use. Traveling with a family with 3 children for 25 days - it makes it a neccessity for laundry services. As they did provide a dry cleaning/laundry service at this hotel the prices were outrageous, which is understandable when traveling. There were coin operated laundramats within 5-6 blocks but just not a convenient option. The rooms were very clean and the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. We were not provided with hand towels or face cloths any day we were there even after a request. Overall the hotel was pretty good. We loved Darling Hrbour and Sydney in general. We will defintely return but would not stay here for the mere inconvenience. It is a great basic hotel with very personable staff.

We stayed in the ibis hotel for 6 nights and the location of this hotel is excellent and the view of darling harbour from your room is just amazing.. The rooms are very small. I would recommend that you get the breakast in the morning because it is very good value.. We both really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and the staff are all very helpful..

The hotel was is a great location,...
The hotel was is a great location, perfect base for all the sights. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Upon a arrival I was not allocated a room with a view overlooking Darling Harbour, which I had booked, however they had already arranged an offer of free breakfast for my 2 nights stay as compensation, which was excellent & my room was changed the following day. Great service.

The location is excellant and straight overlooking...
The location is excellant and straight overlooking Darling Harbour . the rooms are of o.k size but most importantly they were kept clean. Coffee and tea making facilities were available in the room together with a fridge, iron and ironing board. Sobasically we had everything we needed . My only critisism is that the bar closed at 10.00pm which i thought was a bit early .

VERY GOOD LOCATION. THE HARBOUR VIEW WAS GREAT, THE BREAKFAST WAS GOOD, THE STAFF HELPFUL. THE ROOM WAS A LET DOWN THERE WERE NO DRAWERS, SMALL ENCLOSURE WITH TWO INADEQUATE SHELVES AND FIVE COAT HANGERS WE LIVED OUT OF SUIT CASES. MR. AND MRS CLEMINSON, SCARBOROUGH, ENGLAND.
