The room was quite basic, but sure you only sleep in it. However the hotel itself was lovely. Nice foyer, pool, spa etc. The staff were fantastic and very friendly and I would most definately go back to Greenmount. The restaurant food was delicious!!. Even the big bush turkeys were funny dandering about the place. Loved it

I stayed at the Greenmount 20 years ago and it was modern and very clean, as most resorts would be by now the Greenmount is looking tied and said.
I really think either a knock down rebuild or complete renovation is reqired to be competetive in this market

i booked the greenmount resort for the location of the surf breaks. i then did not hear or read good reivews about the hotel, and thought about changing properties. i did not change properties and was totally satisfied with the hotel. for those of you that sent in bad reviews- YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! I paid $83US and was more than satisfied. The free breakfast was just alright, but FREE so no complaints there. The property is old- but clean, well maintained and the staff friendly. I will book there again not only for the location, but for the price.
