The most surprising accommodation
This could be one of the most surprising accommodation I've ever had! The standard room, was so big! The amenities provided, superb! Very pleasant stay and will come back again in future! Highly recommended + value for money!

good budget stay
Nice quiet and clean location. Impressed with the room for the budget rates paid. However, there is no room cleaning and towel change. You have to walk a quite a bit to the eating places. Would recommend to friends

we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the hotel, as we had booked it so long ago we had forgotten what to expect. the suit was huge in comparison to other aussie hotels we had been in. Yes it had seen better days but for our purpose it was fine the staff were friendly and helpfull

Australis Sovereign Hotel
Very slow at check in and not too accommodating for getting rooms together. The double room was large with all facilities although carpet really tired and torn. No service to the rooms for your entire stay unless you paid for the housekeeping to come in!!! Had a meal in the restaurant which was really poor absolutely no atmosphere and he staff were mute!!! Surfer's Paradise was a fun place to stay and beach excellent and the hotel was in a good location.

Wow
The first thing when I entered the room with my daughter, it gives me a really nice feeling and the view of the hall and balcony was breath taking. It was spacious with the dinning table and sofa set.
For the price we were paying, it was a really good deal. If I were to go back again, I will definitely book the hotel again. This will also be in my recommendation lists.
Only problem is the lack of car park. Guess it must the good value for money that attract so many guests......cheers

The bed is too soft not suitable...
The bed is too soft not suitable for us. Not comfortable. The lady is not nice in the reception. Not helpful to us. The room is not good. It is because we have to open the main door and then open our room with the same key. We do not know next room guest can use their key to open our room. Overall, not good, I will not recommend to others even the price is a little bit cheap.

I booked the Queen Dulux room....
I booked the Queen Dulux room. You know whats in a Queen dulux room? A Queen size bed and a bathroom. Try naming your rooms a little better!!!!!!! The pool was great I love the restraunt but would go down the street for all you could eat breakfast for 12.90 in staed of the rubbish searved here. Hope fully this is not classed as hearsay. The room we stayed in was pretty...
The room we stayed in was pretty good size and its self contained, it has all the amenities such as microwave/dishwasher,electric stove. The only thing I didnt like is just the room and bathroom feels a bit old, its location was further than the other hotels from the city centre but is not an issue if you have your own transportation. In the future would stay in other hotel just for comparison because I have never stayed in other hotels in Gold Coast, this hotel still represent good value.
