The Retreat rooms at Hayman was very large and lovely. Sadly Cyclone Hamish spoilt the weather for 2 days, which limited the dining options whilst we were there. The hotel had daily Wet weather activities, and kept us well informed on the status of the cyclone. For the majority of our stay, there was no: beach deck chairs / umbrellas, water activities, outside dining, day trips.. all due to the weather conditions, so that was a big dissapointment. No form of compensation was offered for the reduced services / activities, not even a free drink, which would have been a nice gesture..
