Beautiful heritage listed old home,tastefully decorated. Serenity and quiet amidst the hustle and bustle of old Hobart town. Lovely ambience, one could almost imagine being transported back in time. Accomodation was very cosy and comfortable. Good facilities. Great place for the weary traveller to unwind.Great hosts. Beautiful surrounds including garden. Well cared for. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a break away from mundane hotels and wants to experience the ambience of yesteryear.

We had an unforgettable experience and very happy to stay in The Lodge. It was near amenities and very convenient - withing walking distance to shopping areas. Enjoyed the feeling of 'Home Sweet Home' We would like to say a 'By Thank you' to Lyn and Lee for the warm hospitality. All the best and take care.

Nice people run this establishment. They were accomodating and helpful. The building and rooms are nicely appointed and well cleaned. Recommend this place to anyone.
