We were on a 4 day trip...
We were on a 4 day trip in Tasmania as part of a round the world tour. This was by far the worst motel we stayed in. Our room was on the top floor and the only access was four flights of metal stairs outside,not dissimilar to a fire escape. There were nowhere near enough parking spaces for all the rooms and many guests, including ourselves had to leave their car on the road. The floor in the room had holes in it, which was covered by the carpet. The toilet leaked in the bathroom. We informed reception, nothing was done. We informed the cleaner and still nothing was done. We stayed in far superior motels on our trip, which in fact were cheaper. We nicknamed this one "Bates Motel". We would never stay in a Best Western motel again.
