Accommodation in the NT is costly, especially in the dry (=tourist) season, and this lodge takenadvantage of a caoptive audience (expensive drinks, a grossly overpriced convenience shop, and fairly ordinary meals, despite the hype). It's well located for the main sights (Falls, yellow water etc.) and the guides are great. The proximity of lodge to caravan park/camping area gives it more the feel of the latter. And I wonder what overseas visitors think when they see virtually no Aboriginal staff?
