Has the basics. I stayed in the newer rooms and they were very clean. Window view was a disappointment, there were random noises in the room and quite a few teenage groups staying running up and down corridors making it hard to sleep. Beds and pillows very comfortable.

Very Happy
Great Hotel is a good part of the city room was compact but had everything i needed, very clean and a good bed, staff most helpful would stay here again thanks for a great stay :)

The location is very convinience as it...
The location is very convinience as it very near to the bus station which can transfer to airport. It is quite near to Chinatown. I like the hotel's staff as they are polite and helpful. I will back if I travel to Melbourne in future.

wE BOOKED INTO THE MOTEL,SAW THE ROOM...
wE BOOKED INTO THE MOTEL,SAW THE ROOM AND BOOKED STRAIGHT BACK OUT AGAIN.WE DIDN'T EVEN TAY TO GET CHANGED FOR THE FUNCTION THAT WE HAD TO ATTEND. APART FROM HAVING NO PRIVATE BATHROOM THE ROOM ITSELF WAS QUITE DIRTY. THE CARPET WAS DIRTY AND THE TWO CHAIRS THAT WERE IN THE ROOM HAD STAINS ALL OVER THEM SO WE DIDN'T EVEN WANT TO LOOK AT THE MATTRESS. THE WEB SITE IS VERY MISLEADING AS TO FACILITIES. THE COST OF THE ROOM IS EXTREMELY HIGH FOR THE FACILITIES THAT IT PROVIDES. SORRY TO SAY BUT WE DEFINATELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS MOTEL TO ANYONE AS IT IS POSSIBLE TO OBTAIN ACCOMMODATION EITHER IN THE CITY OR ON THE EDGE FOR A MUCH MORE REASONABLE PRICE

I were very appreciated for your room...
I were very appreciated for your room upgrading on 28th Jun,2008, so I were continual stay more 2 night on 29th and 30th Jun and I promptly paid. It had some mistake when I checked out at 12.00 o'clock on 1st July, the receptionist said that I did not pay for 30th Jun. I insisted that I had already paid, I tried to explain in English for 20 minutes although I were not good at English language, he went to check the pay-in slip and he came back to said that I had already paid, be without "sorry". I were very angry but I were afraid of I could not catch the airplane in time. It made me feel unhappy on last minute. Good bye Melbourne.

The location and convenience of the hotel...
The location and convenience of the hotel is excellent. While the hotel is refurbished, it does look somewhat aged, however it's very clean and practical The only real complaint is that when my room came to be cleaned, for the whole three days my wash basin weas not wiped down. in fact i had inadvertently left one of the soap wrapers on the sink and this as left there for two days, I get the impression this was an oversight since the shower/yoilet had been done. Otherwise i enjoyed my stay
