Excellent for City Break
We stayed in the larger superior room which was a very nice size and the location of the hotel is in China Town and pretty central to all the attractions in Melbourne. No noise from the streets and very comfortable, I certainly recommend this hotel as value for money.

We were travelling with another4 coupkle who agreed with the above rating- The staff and the hotel were so convenient to us as we were overnighing and required something in the centre of the city- We had a late checkout at a very reasonable cost and have booked 3 rooms for October as another overnight stay before travelling again. Our thanks to the check in staff at the Mecure Welcome for their friendliness and their help

This hotel is in a great location....
This hotel is in a great location. The welcome you receive is very good. The hallways (11th floor) we old, tired and dingy leading to our room. The room itself was very small but did have all the necessary facilities. The cleanliness of the room left a little to be desired. If you are looking for budget accommodation in a fantastic location this maybe the hotel for you. We certainly won't be staying at there again and would be hesitant staying in any Mecure in the future.

I think the hotel needs to have...
I think the hotel needs to have a clear address as Little Bourke St and Swanston st can both be used for entry. Entry via Little Bourke looks like an alley and most taxi drivers do not know where to stop. Signage is an issue. A larger bathroom is appreciated for future.
