We had a wonderful stay at this...
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is away from the busy city centre, which we liked so was obviously in a quieter area. Having said that, it only took about 10 minutes to walk into the centre or the free tram was always available. The coach tours that we booked also collected us from the hotel and dropped us back after. The room was really lovely and the huge bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff at the Radisson were so friendly and helpful. The waiting staff at breakfast would always stop for a chat and would tell you if anything interesting was going on in Melbourne. The lounge area by reception was very comfortable and we would always pop down for a latte before bed, to use the internet and/or play cards. The hotel was very quiet. Whether we were lucky in not having noisy neighbours I don`t know but it was great. We used the jacuzzi on a couple of occasions which was really nice with beautiful views over the city. If we are lucky enough to return to Melbourne, we would return to this hotel.

We were very pleased with this Hotel ... the Staff were very friendly and helpful! The location is very central to the Downtown and we enjoyed walking to the "Queen Victoria Market"!

This is not a luxury hotel, but was very comfortable for my purposes. The concierge was very helpful and had excellent suggestions for public transportation and local restaurants. I would stay there again.
A perfectly acceptable middle of the road...
A perfectly acceptable middle of the road hotel away from the hustle and bustle of Melbourne's CBD but still fairly accessible.
Nothing special about the room one way or the other; no nasty surprises and after a day on the road that's one of the things you appreciate. A bit boring perhaps, and a bit corporate, but in its own way Radisson on Flagstaff is more than acceptable.
The clincher to take us back there would be the staff; wherever you looked, reception, bar, housekeeping etc the service we had was friendly and first rate. Corporate or not, it still managed to feel like the real Australia.

Radisson is very well placed for access to Telstra Dome, Vic Market and Spencer Street Station. The staff were very pleasant, though they perhaps need to show a little more maturity, this should occur as time goes on. The room was well layed out and comfortable. Altogether a very pleasant stay and will definately visit again.

A very nice hotel; located about 15 minutes walk from the city centre. The location is very good; right next to Victoria markets and the gardens. Staff were very polite, efficient and courteous. There was a glitch with our room service order. The hotel let us have the room service for free, without us even mentioning it. Great service!!
I recommend this hotel for all travelers. Its reasonably priced, good location & great service.
We have stayed at the Radisson before,...
We have stayed at the Radisson before, and were very happy to go back there. It has a lovely park opposite, is very close to Victoria Markets, and is a reasonable walk downtown to the shops, and back, and we are an older couple, and can manage this. The service is always prompt and polite. Also for older people there is nearly always a taxi available outside the hotel, should they need one. Room service is well organized, and should you need house-keeping the service is prompt and very polite. The street in front of the hotel is quiet, compared with down-town, and there is a good tram service available nearby. It is also a very good location for business people. We find the location perfect, and are happy to recommend this hotel. It certainly suits us very well. Also thank you Asiarooms for your help with our bookings.

This place was ok. The location was a bit crappy though because the market near by wasn't on and the train station was closed when we stayed. The shopping centers were a few blocks away so things weren't that bad.
