"Southbank is a very good location for..."
Southbank is a very good location for food and walking distance to city center. Even on Christmas Day most of the restaurants in Southbank were open. The booked room was a family room but was rather small for a family of four. Breakfast buffet at a reasonable price available. Staff lacked a bit of enthusiasm, but that might have to do with working on Christmas Day. All in all a good experience. We can recommend Southbank Travelodge and would stay there again.

"The close proximity to the exhibition centre..."
The close proximity to the exhibition centre is excellent. The hotel is becoming tired looking and badly needs a new refit. The service is good but could use some renforcement in customer care. Several times I was cut off when trying to contact the concierge.

The proximity to Flinders Station makes it a great place to stay. Nearest car rental company is only 10 mins walk away. The only drawback is hotel has no car park facility.

"This hotel is in a fantastic location...."
This hotel is in a fantastic location. Right next to the new Eureka tower and footsteps away from the Yarra River. Rooms are spacious and clean. Bathroom is basic but also clean. Enjoyed our stay here and would recommend.
