I stayed 5 nights in this hotel.
The hotel is perfectly located, right in the City Center.
The first night I had a room on the street side and it was quite noisy. I changed room and the second one was very quiet and comfortable.
This hotel is perfect, specially if you don't have a car.
we stayed at the victoria the parking is limited and expensive the gym is reasonable but not brilliant could be looked at the sauna seating was dangerous and the spa was not working as for the swimming pool they should tell you it is a dip pool no more but on the otherside of the coin the staff are friendley and helpful bar is reasonable and the restraunt needs to look at the breakfast and get more variety for what you are paying but what you get is ok rooms are clean and tidy when we got to the room it smelt of smoke and the next day i saw a housemaid and asked her if she could do something about it and within 20 mins she had an ioniser in the room clearing it of the smell
The hotel was in a perfect location the foyer was lovely, the bar staff friendly. The hallways and the rooms need a make over but clean and ok. The reason i would not stay again is the shower the water was a dribble and was either boiling hot or freezing cold.
Just a few lines .The room carpets need s attention .Another peoblem was the noise from the street nt your problem an druk s.. dont sell alcohol after 12 oclock .My wife an self were kept up all night .
The staff were very helful..
Will stay there again..
Thank u .

Great access for the centre of the city, trams close by + railway station(10mins walk). Close if you are comming for the tennis(20-30min walk to rod laver area)Staff helpful
Excellent location. Room was clean and nothing fancy but did the job. The place could be doing with a lick of paint but a refurbishment is planned for 2007.
The only very minor downside is that the room only has a very small window so the room can be quite dark.
Other than that, excellent value for money.
