We recently stayed here for 2 nights...
We recently stayed here for 2 nights and were quite impressed. Although the reception area is very small, it did not provide any hassles for us. We were greeted promptly by pleasant helpful staff. We were told that due to over- bookings on the type of room we had booked via the internet, we would be upgraded to a deluxe studio apartment. Our room was a good size for the two of us, as was the bathroom, which was quite big compared to those we have had in larger hotels. The only thing we felt was lacking in this room was insufficient lighting. It tended to be a little on the dark side. Couldn't fault the cleanliness of the room. The little kitchenette provided sufficient utensils if you wanted to cook light meals there. We found this unnecessary as there was an abundance of little restaurants nearby as well as cafes that provided great meals. Our room looked out onto Little Bourke St, and we found it a bit noisy later in the evening and early morning, but not excessive. The only item the room did not have was a clock.
