We are sorry that we inconvenienced your staff. The girl at reception responded with curt short responses to our enquiries (eg about where Budget Car rentals were located at the airport,etc)- if she didn't know, she wasn't going to help us find out.
The room looked like a small "tarted-up Formula 1 style" room, inwhich we could not turn the heating down, and when we opened the window, it was noisy.
The in-house restaurant only survives with the obvious staffing shortage because of your "captive clientele" at the Hotel. Althouh we were efficietly seated (?to get rid of the que?) we were ignored by the busy staff,and while we were waiting the couple next to us returned their sirloin steak. Although we weren't sure why, we avoided this dish. In the end, I had to get up and stand in the path of the waiter to ask him where we needed to go to place an order. Then, when he repeated back our order from his little hand-held computer device, I corrected him saying "not the lamb kebabs, the garlic prawns". He then came back to say that the chef had started to cook the kebab dish,and to avoid "upsetting the chef" would I have these instead. (I should have headed the implicit warning because the Garlic prawns that then came, were of a high-school student standard.)
I was reluctant to rate The Syney Airport Ibis in this survey form as I would not reccommend it to any of the categories of clientele listed in your form.
The Syney Airport Ibis might be conveniently located to the Domestic terminal,and provides a good bus shuttle service to the intenational terminal, but it is not cheap, and you pay in other ways too.
