The hotel was close to the airport...
The hotel was close to the airport which is great if like us you had a flight into Sydney and a fligth out the next day. The room wasn't massive but had everything you need, tv, bathroom, bed and tea/coffee facilities. They also provide free shuttle from the airport and only a small free to go back the next day. I would stay here again.

This hotel was perfect as an overnight...
This hotel was perfect as an overnight stay before catching an early flight. The room was not very big but as a short stay it was ideal. It was very clean and the staff were all very friendly. It has a shuttle bus that will take you to both airports and that was easy to book and took us there within minutes. All in all a good hotel and we would definelty stay there again.

Our stay was excellent. Location is convenient....
Our stay was excellent. Location is convenient. One can walk to and from the Domestic Terminal without waiting for the Hotel Shuttle. One note of caution. Hotel does not tell you that shuttle from Hotel to Airport is not free. Shuttle from Airport to Hotel is free !

Nice modern rooms, good location for the...
Nice modern rooms, good location for the airport. There is a hotel shuttle bus to the airport but they charge you AU$8 per person to use it, not sure if a taxi would have been cheaper. Restaurant food was nice, good job really, because there isn't really anywhere else to eat.

I was fairly pleased with our stay...
I was fairly pleased with our stay until we got home, and realized that charges that were not authorized had been put onto our credit card. There were 2 charges added onto our card after we were told there were no additional charges to be paid at check-out time. I am disappointed with this type of thing, and have unfortunatly changed my mind about recommmending this hotel as highly as I had originally would have.

Close to the airport and subway. Staff...
Close to the airport and subway. Staff is really nice and helpful. Has a free shuttle from the airport but if you want to take it to the airport you have to pay a fee. Rooms are on the small side.

A lovely modern hotel, very clean and...
A lovely modern hotel, very clean and well presented. Room size a little small but fine for a short stay. Very close to the airport, and only a short walk to the nearest train station to get you into the city. A very comfortable stay with friendly staff and good location.

We stayed in Sydney for one night...
We stayed in Sydney for one night only, en-route from Melbourne to Christchurch. The Ibis is in the perfect location: Right by the airport and yet only a few minutes walk from the railway station which takes you straight into the city. The rooms have all recently been refurbished and are great. Watch reception though: We booked an airport shuttle; they didn't put us on the list, didn't have room on the bus for us which meant we ended up getting a taxi in a last minute mad rush. Other than that - perfect.
