The service at the ibis in Newcastle is as always
excellent...the staff are always polite and willing to help with all enquiries that we may of had..We will definlity will be back to stay again.

The staff were friendly and helpful but...
The staff were friendly and helpful but I found the room to be quite small. Also, the hotel was not in the best location to access the CBD facilities.
On the way from Sydney to Queensland,...
On the way from Sydney to Queensland, I passed by & stayed an overnight there. A small & cozy hotel with friendly & helpful staff. Despite, the room was tiny small (approx 20sq.m only), but it's new, clean & comfort + could enjoyed a real refreshing shower bath within. But it's close to the railway, you could hear some noise from the trains but the sound proof was acceptable. Less than 5 mins driver to the beachfront & close to shopping centre. I would like to recommend to anyone who going to visit Hunter Valley, could take a stopover there. New Castler seems like has warm kind hospitality, too.

Over stay is good minus the fact...
Over stay is good minus the fact that it is near the railway track which can be a bit noisey at night.
