We provide complimentary airport transfer upon your arrival, and the mini-chocolates, fruit (in season) and starter breakfast provisions are our way of welcoming you to the sunny island. Enjoy complimentary items such as the tea, coffee, milk and sugar to even the laundry powder, DVD movies (300+ titles including kids movies) and tennis. For Hire: Wireless Broadband on your own laptop is $80 per week or pre-paid hotspot option at $5 per hour. Sauna can be pre-paid by the half hour. The heated swim spa pool is free.

You will also not have to spend your holiday dollars on excessive petrol bills and travel time, as we are the closest self-contained accommodation to town, just about quicker to walk than to drive. Petrol costs over $2.46 per litre, and there are 170 kms of road! We are also only a 10 minute stroll to the Cheryl tennis club, where all Cumberland guests play for free throughout the year.

Our cottages are in a tranquil garden setting set amongst scores of palm trees, yet only a short 3 minute stroll to the tax-free shops, cafes, and restaurants, and only 5 minutes to the beaches, historical area, golf, and kayaking.

We are absolutely committed to making your stay as pleasant and memorable as possible, and will go out of our way to go the extra mile at all times to make this a special holiday. We have a reputation for being affordable, yet at a high level of quality, and pride ourselves on our friendly and efficient service.



Quality appointed AAA-rated 4-star and 4.5-star self-contained accommodation cottages. Just ten cottages: 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom and 4-bedroom cottages, including Cumberland Villa, a spacious 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom house and the only licensed Guest Holiday House in the Norfolk Island main town.

All cottages are self-catering and include a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, griller, oven, and microwave. The kitchen is fully equipped with every conceivable item of crockery, cutlery and utensils, right down to the tea and coffee plungers. Picnic baskets, picnic backpacks and thermos's are available for your use. Fresh Linen is supplied and regular changes are offered.

Heavenly King beds (or twin beds if requested), Fluffy Duvets/Doonas, Egyptian cotton towels, etc. As the only known island accommodation with electric heated towel rails, you step out of the steamy shower into a fluffy, heated towel. Relax and pamper yourself!
