According to the Hotel we were mislead
According to the hotel we were mislead by Asia Rooms. We booked a Superior Double Room inc breakfast. This offer, according to Asia Rooms, offered a room with floor to ceiling windows on the private floor of the hotel with pre dinner drinks in the Club Lounge and a continental breakfast . What we got was a very nice room with a window overlooking a brick wall and no breakfast. When we pointed out to the hotel the difference between what we had booked and what we received they said that Asia Rooms' site was incorrect and they had informed them of their mistake many times. To be fair to the hotel they did give us a complimentary breakfast but no access to the Clun Lounge. I could not say who was at fault, the hotel or Asia Rooms but anyone thinking of booking this hotel should clarify what they can expect.

This was the first time i booked with asiarooms.com but my friend had done so before and had no problems so i decided to give it a go. The original hotel i wanted was not available so i tried a hotel i hadn't stayed at before. It was a little awkward with the streets in perth only going one way etc but it didn't take us too long to correct out original mistake. There was no reservation problems and the staff were very friendly. Although only getting one hotel room key to start with there was no problem getting another when i returned to my room earlier than my friends. The room was clean and all things were in working order. The hotel was quite and although we didn't have a view from our window we didn't mind. The hotel is very well positioned being directly opposite her majesty's theatre and walking distance to resteraunts/bars/shopping and the train centre. Pretty well priced and i would stay again if i were wanting a hotel in the perth city area. Valet parking is $25 but worth it.
The location and popularity of this hotel...
The location and popularity of this hotel was excellent. As Australia seems to close at around 10pm, you need a good hotel to retire to for a last drink and the hotel bar was very nice and extremely popular.
A word of warning though, on arrival the first room I was allocated was awful, due to there being a window facing a wall - this being the view (not) this room should only be offered on discount I feel, as it was continually dark and extremely depressing. Fortunately, we were able to make an immediate change of rooms to a much nicer room with a window !! Make sure you specify this on requesting any room, otherwise you may end up in the 'prison room' !!

The hotel is in a great location, staff were excellent initially we had a room near to the lift which was quite noisy, we were moved to a more suitable room without problem. Will definitely use again when in Perth
Location is in the CBD which is...
Location is in the CBD which is great as you can walk to most of the places. Busses, main train station is close by, just as all the shopping centers.
The hotel staff is very friendly, room is clean and for sure I will stay there again.

A well appointed comfortable hotel, conveniently situated...
A well appointed comfortable hotel, conveniently situated in the centre of Perth. Very friendly and helpful staff - I was very competently and sympathtetically assisted with a potentially critical problem of my own making outside the hotel.
As a seasoned international traveller I found the hotel description to be completely accurate and the room and en-suite bathroom to be larger than expected and the standard of cleanliness excellent.
Maybe the ambience of the restaurant could be a little less "commercial" but the food was excellent.

Room was larger than expected and on quite a high floor so no street noise. Obviously a business oriented hotel but as a tourist I had a very comfortable stay there.
